Gilt-edged innocence

Should have been cherished, not shunned

Humiliated

Naivety had high cost

Not knowing path to take, lost

  1. “Should have been cherished, not shunned”– Yet so often misused and “humiliated.” Been there, so this speaks volumes to me. Praise God, our trust firmly placed in Him is never misplaced. He surrounds us as a shield, He is our glory, and He is the “lifter up of our heads”! Hallelujah! (Psalm 3:3).
