Hearts shattered, most have scattered
Yesterday’s darkness
Lingers star-less, absent moon
‘Mid heavy weight of waiting
What was it He said?
Cobwebbed minds search to recall
A Third-Day promise?
Believers echo doubters
As sky’s dim hue haunts, tarries

God spoke His mind audibly
Burning bush, my dream
Eyes search night, pray “pillar’d fire”
Day sky’s hope, His sheer-gleam cloud
Gifted afternoon
White fluffs write in pillar form…
Dusk, flame-colored mass
Thrills me passing overhead
God answers prayers, child don’t doubt
Light reveals His love

Listen…Voice resounds
