Lord, grant me just this

One day of Your kind favor…

Let me see through blur

Of all I can’t understand

That cuts me too deep to bleed

~

You know everything

But I’m caught ‘midst Heaven, Earth

Where all is muddled

Myst’ries twisted in tangle

Which torments mind cast simply

A cry of the heart caught between heaven’s joys and earth’s torments, Vee — “Of all I can’t understand/That cuts me too deep to bleed” — And yet, “He knows the way I take” and His eye is on the sparrow — We trust, and trust, and trust again in this journey of faith with our Lord whose love and strength upholds by our side. We keep pressing on!
